Volunteering at the Library

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Worcester Public Library. Our volunteers work in many different capacities, lending their behind-the-scenes support to our appreciative staff and serving a vital role in helping us provide excellent service to our community.

Apply today

Note that we accept volunteer applications on a rolling basis. While we may not have open volunteer positions at the time you apply, we retain applications for one year and contact interested volunteers when opportunities arise.

Teenagers may volunteer for the Teen Advisory Board, which meets on the second Tuesday of the month throughout the school year. Attending TAB meetings can count towards your community service hours, and the TAB members discuss additional volunteer opportunities just for teens. See the calendar of teen events for more information. There is no application or registration required to join the Teen Advisory Board.
